I'm so glad you made it to my neck of the woods. A little bit about myself: 

​

I started working in the field of Early Childhood Education in January of 2011. Throughout my 10+ years in this field of education, I have been experienced a plethora of emotions as I worked with the children and their families. I thoroughly enjoy the years that I have spent in the classroom, both as a teacher and as a student.

           

What drew my interest to the field of Early Childhood was learning how children develop and how to the ages of 0-5 years old truly impacts the rest of our lives. I love assisting and teaching children the skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. I grew up with a happy childhood and my hope and goal are that the children in my care can look back with similar feelings at their own childhoods.

Through this blog, I am hoping to build the knowledge base of parents, families, and teachers in the field of early childhood education so that they can become better-informed protectors of the children in their lives. Childhood is under attack and we all need to build a better defense of it. I sincerely hope that the information provided will help.
